Everything you need to know about using Snaps Roster — whether you're a customer viewing photos or a studio managing your business.

Finding Your Photos

  1. Go to the "View my photos" page or visit /verify.
  2. Enter the email address your photographer has on file for you.
  3. Check your inbox for a one-time verification code and enter it on screen.
  4. You will see all studios that have photos tagged to your contact. Select a studio to browse events.

Previewing & Purchasing

  1. Browse your galleries — photos are shown with a watermark until purchased.
  2. Tap a photo to see a larger preview. Use the "Add to cart" button to select photos you want.
  3. Open your cart (top-right icon) to review selections and see the total.
  4. Proceed to checkout. Payment is handled securely via Stripe.
  5. After payment, your photos are immediately available for download without watermarks.

Downloading Purchased Photos

  1. Purchased photos show a "Download" button in your gallery.
  2. Tap "Download" to receive a time-limited link for the full-resolution file.
  3. Downloads are available for 24 hours after each request. You can request a new link anytime.

Studio Setup (For Photographers)

  1. Sign up at /admin/signup with your studio name, email, and password.
  2. Complete onboarding — set your region, upload a logo, and connect your Stripe account.
  3. Upload photos via the admin panel. The system automatically generates watermarked previews.
  4. Tag photos to customers using their email or phone so they can find their gallery.

Managing Photos (Admin)

  1. Navigate to Photos in the admin sidebar.
  2. Upload new photos — they enter a processing pipeline (validate → thumbnail → watermark → ready).
  3. Organize photos into events/albums for easy customer navigation.
  4. Set pricing per photo or use default pricing from your studio settings.

Orders & Payments (Admin)

  1. View all orders from the Orders page in the admin panel.
  2. Orders show status (pending, paid, failed) and line items.
  3. Revenue is deposited directly to your connected Stripe account.
  4. Use the Dashboard for an overview of revenue, photo counts, and pending orders.

Team Management (Admin)

  1. Go to the Users page to invite team members.
  2. Assign roles: Owner (full access) or Content Manager (photo/event management only).
  3. Team members sign in at /admin/login with their own credentials.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to create an account to view my photos?
No. You verify with your email or phone — no password or sign-up needed.
How long are download links valid?
Each download link is valid for 24 hours. You can generate a new one anytime from your gallery.
Can I access photos from multiple studios?
Yes. After verification, you will see all studios that have tagged photos to your contact.
What payment methods are accepted?
We use Stripe, which supports credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay depending on your region.
I didn't receive my verification code.
Check your spam folder. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, try requesting a new code.
How do I contact my photographer?
Snaps Roster connects you to your photographer's gallery. For support, reach out to your studio directly.
